Nr. 90 – Nancy Sinatra

Daughter of Frank Sinatra but I shouldn’t even have mentioned that since she has managed to make a career of her own with her own style. Searching on YouTube I found many versions of These Boots Are Made For Walking but finally I found what I was looking for – the reason she’s on the list – Her version of Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down). Featured in Tarantino’s Kill Bill the song got a whole new meaning. Why is she cool? She’s got a very cool way of singing. Even when she sings cheerful songs, such as Sugar Town or How Does That Grab You Darlin’, she’s got a tone in her voice that keeps her from getting too sweet and too cute.
