Monica Zetterlund was not only a good jazz singer, she was also an actress with a great sense of comedy. She appeared in several movies and shows by Swedish film directors and comedians Hans Alfredsson and Tage Danielsson. This clip is from a play by Hasse & Tage called Gula Hund, a satire over multiculturalism in the Swedish society, where Zetterlund plays Singoalla, daughter in a gypsy family. This is the English version that was produced by Sveriges Radio for a competition in Montreaux. This might be the only existing gypsy version of the Swedish national anthem, and in English as well. Why is she cool? She’s got grace, talent and she’s also funny.
