Young British soul phenomenon released her first album, The Soul Sessions, at the age of 16. The album sold platinum and since then she has released three more albums. This tall soul singer often works the stage barefoot giving the performance a relaxed expression. Why is she cool? Compared to other female singers getting their fame at a very young age she didn’t have the “I have to show I’m a grown up now”-complex, taking her clothes off in every video like for example Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, instead she seemed to rely on her voice. That’s cool.
