Annie Lennox is one of those artists that have aged with dignity. She’s just four years older than Madonna but she seems to have no need to run around across the stage in hot pants to recapture her youth. I admire her use of her strongest weapon – her voice, a unique voice. I admit I don’t have many records of neither Annie Lennox nor Eurhythmics in my home, so I can’t say much about her music, but I think Sweet Dreams is one of the best songs of the ‘80s and I really liked this version of her 1992 hit Why.
