Just Kids, an autobiography by Patti Smith, was published this year in January and I have planned to read it, but as always it just ends up on a To Do-list. It should be an interesting book to read considering the life she has lived. She has been called Godmother of Punk, and rightfully so since she was one of the most influential artists of the ‘70s’ punk scene. Why is she on the list? It would be weird to leave out a woman called the Godmother of Punk on a list like this. That wouldn’t necessary mean she’s cool, but luckily she is.
